The Parents Helping Parents Program was created to serve families facing today’s challenges of raising morally, good children in nonviolent and nourishing ways, within a violent society, that cultivates drugs, gangs, and relational abuse. This is done by learning new, proactive parenting skills in an atmosphere of respect, love and compassion. The parents will learn how to: Discipline in a proactive way; Influence the behaviors of their children; Discipline their children in chaotic and confusing situations; Acquire information about resources in their community; Form Support Groups with other parents.
